I absolutely believe in miracles. I believe in large and little ones. I think they happen to us daily. It's just recognizing them as miracles and blessings that's tough. I agree with what Kelly above has said...if we don't believe in miracles then don't we put limits on God? I definitely don't want to limit God's power. I whole heartedly believe in the miracles of prayer! Great post. My first visit here!

What a blessing it is to read a post like this Sarah Mae. It's never that I don't believe God CAN do miracles, but I am sometimes tempted to wonder whether He WILL, or whether He will for ME--maybe He only does miracles for other people, but He means for me to just stay in the deep end indefinitely. My spirit knows better, but my flesh does get weary and worn, so thank you for the encouragement of your real life experience--it pours hope and joy into my day!

In His Grip,
Shaunie

I believe!

Salvation itself is the most amazing miracle! I mean, who can grasp the awesomeness of God's grace extended to undeserving man? The soul transformation that takes place is nothing short of a miracle.

In my own life I believe I've experienced a miracle. My daughter has spina bifida and was not expected to be able to do anything on her own, if she lived at all. Today she runs and plays. She even rides a bike. She's my miracle!

Other than those, I have seen miracles of healing while on the mission field.

I do not believe in now-days resurrections, but that is my lack of faith, not God's lack of ability.

I do believe in miracles. I pray impossible prayers everyday. With God nothing will be impossible. I remember as a child, my dad letting me fall asleep on the couch on Friday nights and then carrying me up to bed and giving me a kiss before leaving the room. Years later, I was at a party and I took a sip of a friend's drink and I jumped because it smelled like my dad. I never remembered a time when he didn't smell like some sort of hard liquor. After that I started noticing how much he was drinking. He has be sober for 5 years and slowly he is returning to the faith he had as a child. Do I wish it were an instant answer to prayer and he would be grounded in a good church and serving the Lord? Of Course. But I'll take the small steps! He didn't walk away from God and into alcoholism in a day so his walk back might take time. When I was a child he would not come to church plays because they were Christian. Now when he visits me, he joins us for church and sings along with the rest of us. So yes, I do believe in miracles. I've been praying for this since I was 4 years old and first went to Sunday school. I just have to be patient and trust that God loves my dad more than I do and he has completed a good work in him already. He'll be faithful to see the whole transformation throught to completion. God Bless and I love reading your blog everyday.

I do believe in miracles. A close family member of mine suffered three miscarriages. Two of them at consecutive Thanksgivings. Well, now they are having twins, in November, right before Thanksgiving. Praise God.

Also, my boss was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in July. She was not even expected to live until November--when her first grandchild was due for delivery. That was two years ago and she is still alive and doing remarkably well. She is not cancer free, but she has been given a chance to watch her grand-daughter grow up...something she was told would never happen.

Expect miracles. They happen every single day.

Yes, I believe in miracles. I always have. I have seen and heard about many that have happened. But I don't believe because I have seen and heard. God has never lied to me or anyone else and He said if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. I guess you could say I am child like, but I believed Him. I have never questioned miracles. I guess I have to chalk it up to grace! Praise God.

I do Believe in Miracles. I am grateful that God can do all things as he promises. When we begin to see our limits as the place His Power goes beyond then We see the miracle in what it is. It's REAL AND NOT of our own strength.
God broke me free of a 18 year smoking addiction, just over 6yrs ago. I called out to HIM and he answered. That is a miracle in my life. Being controlled by the habit and the oppression it created in my being. I get a big lump in my chest when I hear of the addictions and pain others suffer.
I am in awe of God. He cares for our needs. I am so glad your Mom is alive and you can have this time of restoration with her.
