Giveaway! Slammin’ Outfit From DownEast Basics!
I have recently been blessed to wear one of the most chic happy outfits that I think I have ever worn. Really. I like it that much.
DownEast Basics hooked me up with this lovely ensemble for the Type-A Mom conference…

Turning Colors Skirt with the Bleaker Street Blazer, Wonder Tee, and an amazingly beautiful necklace that seems to be missing from the website (sniff sniff).
Incidentally, they also threw in this very hip Metro Messenger Bag, that I happen to use for my laptop (I got it in green)…

Ya’ll, this giveaway is just so fantastic I can hardly stand it!!!
The same slammin’ outfit that I wore can be yours!
(in your own size, of course!)
I know – incredible, right? Here’s what you have to do to enter:
- Visit DownEast Basics and tell me your favorite item from their store (it’s going to be very hard to choose!)

- Extra entry #2: Post, Tweet, Facebook this giveaway

*ROCK*STAR*JEANS* Those are FABulous!!!!
StacyK´s last blog post … Loan Modification & Real Estate Auction Expert
It’s easy to comment on the Down East Basics because I’ve been spending the last few days trying to make a few wise purchases there… I’d gotten some great layering tanks there a few years ago, but since then their offerings have really expanded. I’m in love with their skirts. (Skirts being the way to go for a nursing mama.) I think my favorite is the Fall in Love skirt, though I’d really like the Hot to Trot, too…
The uptown cord skirt in charcoal! Perfect for autumn/winter and would look great with opaques and boots/flats…Helen.
Wow, how are we to tell you about our favorite item? There are so many. I love the Leading lady dress, the essential scarf (in olive), the Bleaker Street blazer and of course the metro bag! Ok now that I have put together a full outfit with out realizing it, I want to let you know that I love the skirt you wore too!
Amber Stoneburner´s last blog post … Backgrounds
I’m not sure if you wanted our extra entries in separate comments so that is what I did.
As for a blogging conference; I would love to learn about what draws people, if changing your background is a bad thing, how to be purposeful (how not to be random), how to make blogging a consistent thing in my life….oh there is so much to learn.
Amber Stoneburner´s last blog post … Backgrounds
Cute clothes!
I would like to learn how to write better, more creatively.

Oh my word, can I just say the skirt! Can I just be your twin??! Or would my daughter steal it? (Likely)
changed my mind….floral fixation skirt…or or the summary skirt or or…oh my word!!!!!
You are so right. It is super hard to choose. I love the skirt you are wearing and I also like Cream and Sugar. The Serendipity dress is beautiful, but the Philosophy top is cute, too. Do you know how much time I spent looking at that site?
Too much to choose from! I love the skirt you have on, the collegiate sweater, short story sweater, essential scarf, and the incognito skirt…and everything else. I think I like your skirt best though. Great giveaway!
About blogging, I’d like to learn more about how to make it a business.
Bonita´s last blog post … Great Reads
MAN! I love it all!!! I really like the Wonderful World dress, and the Hip to be square top, and the abracadabra skirt, and… and… everything! The turning colors skirt is amazing, too… so I’m glad it’s part of the giveaway!!!
I love the Uptown Skirt in denim and corduroy. And the messenger bag! So cute!
As for the conference, I’d love to learn more about staying true to your self while blogging. As more people from my past (i.e. high school, college) read my blog, I feel like I’m holding back about what’s important to me. I want to be myself and “write for my grandma,” but I also like the idea of people who don’t know Christ reading my blog and taking something positive from it.
If you have a conference, I’m in!
Kristy Kish´s last blog post … Dear Bubby,
…and you’re planning a blogging conference? I’m not really sure what I would like to know, b/c I consider myself small-time… so maybe how to make a difference with a small audience – and encouragement for bloggers, big and small…
I like their Philosophy top the best! :)
Ëarwen´s last blog post … AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love all their skirts, especially the floral fixation one. I’m just loving their site!
From a blog conference, I’d like to hear discussions about inspiration, where it comes from – how to keep it going – etc. Kind of broad though ;)

I would love to be part of a blogging conference. Most of my trouble has to do with layout and technicality. But, I also struggle sometimes with getting my thoughts into words and tying it all together. I know what I want to say and then when I try to write it, it doesn’t sound right. You know what I mean? :)

I love the clothes on this site. I’ve seen other site with modest clothing but they don’t necessarily have great prices (usually too expensive for me). However, I love the designs AND the prices on this site!

That is a very very SLAMMIN’ outfit Sarah! Thanks for sharing. I also love the bag.
From a conference, I would love to 1. Fellowship with all you wonderful women,
2. Learn how to balance blogging and my regular life
3. How to glorify God more through my posts.
Thanks so much! I hope I WIN! Yippee!

Anna´s last blog post … Forgiveness Part 1
If I were to attend a blogging conference, I’d love to hear about the routines of women who work full-time either as a mom or outside the home, yet still find time to write & post consistently. It just boggles my mind where ya’ll find the time!
Anna´s last blog post … Forgiveness Part 1
More anniversary choices!
I adore the “Pretty Petals Skirt!”
About the conference:
1. I’d like to know more about connecting and building networks.
2. Making it truly work for God’s glory by having non-Christian followers.
3. Making physical meetings happen with local bloggers for encouragement to one another and the community.
4. When to share and when not to share on your blog.
5. What should a Christian blog really “look” like? You know, how would others immediately know that the blog belongs to a Christian?
smooches,

2). How to drive traffic to my blog
3). How to write better :-)
4). How to share my life and faith on my blog without being too preachy

I love the serendipity dress! Really awesome clothes! Love them!

Wendi´s last blog post … In which I realize that my kid has qualities of an average 6 year old *gasp*
I love the “Fall in Love” skirt! I’m posting a link on my blog.
If I were attending a conference, I’d like to hear more on becoming less insulated from secular bloggers. I don’t think we’re meant to keep to ourselves in this world in any venue, but it’s awkward sometimes out there in bloggy world.
2nd Cup Linda´s last blog post … Link Up for the Random Dozen
Ooohh… The uptown cord skirt is too cute! (and I could wear it in winter with snazzy tights! Otherwise the serendipity dress is adorable, but impractical for the 9 months of cold we get here in Montana! Thanks for introducing me to this great company!

Sarah,
Thanks for sharing about this company – I’ve never heard of them, and I love their clothes! I would definitely buy the Curtsy Coat. I just moved to Pennsylvania, and I’m seriously lacking in cold weather clothes!
Kelli´s last blog post … Rehearsal Dinner
If I were going to go to a Christian blogging conference, I would want to hear about the best way to share your opinion on topics without being offensive. That’s a hard line to straddle, and I think you do a really great job of that.
Kelli´s last blog post … Rehearsal Dinner
I am bookmarking that site, because I think I want to ask for Christmas presents there! Hah! :) Exciting.
I think my frivolous pick would be the Get Spotted dress, but my true favorite (because it’s a little more practical for me) would be the Uptown Cord Skirt, either in gray or olive. Hey, maybe I should just get one of each! lol.
Melissa Cummings´s last blog post …

I love it.
I want the jeans….the serendipity dress….the fall skirt….the sunflower skirt.
I need a shopping spree, really!
wanda´s last blog post … Build me up, people!
In the blogging world, I would love to learn more about balancing personal things and public things — I tend to post occasionally about my life, my family, my home, with lots of pictures. And then more frequently I post things that are spiritually encouraging, things from Bible studies, quotes in good books I’m reading, etc. How does one find the balance in there? Or does a blog need to be specifically dedicated to one or the other? (and, say, have two separate blogs?)
Is this something like the discussion of church and state? lol. ;)
Melissa Cummings´s last blog post …
I am loving the L’Amour Coat in olive!! I think I will just get myself a few things from this awesome site!! Thanks for showing it to me! :) As far as a topic – I am very interested in mentoring as of right now – I think we all need more one on one real life women to women interaction to help keep us accountable and honest in our walks with God and in our every day lives. I love finding resources/ideas on that and seeing how other people go about it. Also I love anything to do with personal spiritual growth that translates into outreach – making yourself healthy so you too can go out and make others healthy.
Union Square Tee and Catwalk jeans! Love, love, love! What a fun giveaway!
I’d like to know more about how to increase my readership. I am learning so much about life and being a godly mom…I would love to share those lessons with more moms.
Love the on the dot dress! But then again … they’re all cute!
As for a conference….I’d love info on how to go from blogging to publishing as well as how to make REAL connections while blogging! Thanks for the contest!
You’re right – it was very hard to choose. I love the Feelin’ Fall skirt. I think I will have to put it on my birthday wish list!
I would have to have the sugar and cream skirt with the box top shirt. Or the outfit you wore, because that is just adorable!
Beth´s last blog post … Joy!

Beth´s last blog post … Joy!
And lastly, I would be interested in how to figure out how to blog everyday. As you can see, I’m not good at getting up blogs regularly!
Beth´s last blog post … Joy!
What a cool store! Never been to it before. I loved the long sleeved lace T!
As far as a blogging confrence, it would be neat to see something for beginners. I’ve been meaning to start a blog, but haven’t done it. A how to, what works best etc, what doesn’t work section for beginners would be great. (Not sure if you already have to have a blog to go to a blogging confrence or if you can go to learn?)
I absolutely love their skirts, they have amazing cuts and colors. I also love their Wonder Tees. I wear them with everything, at home, to work, to church. They are the best multi-tasker.
I love those skirts! Several just scream FALL! I would love to twirl in the new season in the Cream and Sugar Skirt or the Pretty Petals Skirt! So pretty!
So, WOW-would you host your own conference? I’d love to learn more about balancing life & blogging and the pursuit of growing a blog for the right reasons…always appreciate your wisdom, honesty and integrity!

Leslie´s last blog post … Reading Log
What I’d like to learn/discuss at a blogging conference is if you should avoid topics that might be a little off topic for your blog and that may not appeal to some of your audience. I count myself lucky that I have readers from both the conservative side and liberal side, just like in my real life circle of co-workers, friends, and family. I blog mostly about saving money, green living, and home improvement. There are times when I wonder if sometimes a topic, or aside write might upset one side or the other (nothing too crazy, like maybe an art festival featuring contemporary art or a nongreen event that was just fun or silly.) Does anyone else feel that way?
Condo Blues´s last blog post … I Paid 17 Cents for a Big Bag of Groceries – No Lie!
Love your outfit, so cute. Thanks for sharing this website, I am on the lookout for some new fall clothes and this is perfect!!
I love the cream and sugar skirt. So fun.

I love love love the cat walk jeans and time after time top. Thank you so much.
I love the “Hot to Trot” jean skirt!
For the conference, I would be interested in time management tips.
I’m very into layering to cover up more but still look cute. So, before I paid attention to what you were wearing (the specifics) I went to their site. The Bleaker St. Blazer is top on my list!
Oh, and for a blogging conference I would like to know how to be authentic and honest about who I am, and who I used to be, without coming across as a martyr or telling too much about my personal life (such as family matters, that I was raised to keep more private).
I love the Curtsy Coat (and such a great price, too!) Thanks for directing me to their clothes!
Olivia´s last blog post … Making Butter
You’re right about not being able to choose! I love the Wonderful World Dress though! I think that might be my favorite =)
Kari´s last blog post … Book Review
I really like the Wonderful World Dress. I am originally from the US but lived in different countries during part of my childhood. The first time I saw this dress my thoughts turned to the unique places I have seen and lived. Thanks for such an awesome give away!
The ingognito skirt!!!! As for a conference…..CONFIDENCE!!!!
I LOVE the Serendipity Dress! It’s just gorgeous!
As to the blogging conference…I personally would like to learn blogging basics. How to get started, what types of things to blog about and such…
Like the Cream and Sugar skirt, Hip to be Square top, anything denim, and there was also a 3/4 sleeve cute top that caught my eye.
As for a blogging conference, I have never participated in one, so for starters I could learn what blogging conferences are all about.
Brandi´s last blog post … WFMW: MY*GRASTICK

Fav item ~ gotta be the Short Story Sweater. Had one similar…wore it so much…I literally wore it out! Goes with everything ~ may have to pick one up. :) Their skirts are fantastic…I am a skirt girl myself…and i love the fun and slightly funky ones too! thanks for the connection with them!
conference topic ~ always the time management issues. how to blog effeciently…and still honor time with family and others…using the technology available to make us more efficient. also ~ most valuable advertising efforts when blogging.
retweet…coming right up.
There’s so much I like but my #1 choice would have to be the L’Amour coat. Beautiful!
I love the hip to be squared top in Paris blue!
Beautiful!
Cindy
At a blogging conference maybe a good topic would be handling comments without taking it personally. Is that possible??
Thanks!
I especially like their basic layering pieces – most notably the Wonder Tee. (What is that top, though, that’s in the photo for the messenger bag, in your post? That one’s cute!)
About the conference – well, first of all, I’d love to hear more about your conference when the plans near completion!
And I would want to learn about basic logistical blogging issues – how to effectively and efficiently post pictures, manage comments, etc. How to make subscribing to my RSS feed easy and intuitive for my readers. That sort of thing.
Rachel Ramey´s last blog post … Next Actions (wfmw)
I love the wildflowers skirt. These dresses and skirts make me ready to get my boots out!
I also love the skirt you are wearing.
I am not sure about blogging conferences since I’ve never been to one. Only work related types in the past. And I only use my blog for family stuff.
As far as a Christian Conference for women? How we can be better in our walks with Christ. Trust.
That skirt you are wearing is gorgeous! Makes me want to create a piece of art like it!

I love the short story sweater, the bleaker street blazer, the pretty petal skirt, the wonderful world dress, the lace tees and tanks, and….oh, you said one, didn’t you?
If I had to choose one thing…I really think the Serendipity Dress is so cute!
I dont have a blog but I did leave a comment about it on facebook!
I love all of their stuff; but I think my most fav was the mod & marvelous skirt! Soo stinkin cute! Thanks for the giveaway!!
Now Ladies, you all have to realize, these clothes are being worn by a BEAUTIFUL young Lady, (that happens to look just like her father), but nonetheless, will still look stunning on all of you. I am so proud of my Daughter, and all she is doing…raising her kids, (MY Grand-children), taking care of my great Son in Law, (Jesse, you owe me for that one), and somehow managing to do this web site, all the while only knowing how to type seven words per minute!
Sarah Mae, you are the perfect kid.
I love you.
I love all their skirts! Turning Colors Skirt is my favorite, I like all the ones with “petticoats”. great prices too.

Okay that was tough! I like most all the skirts but probably the “Feelin’ Fall Skirt” stood out to me. Thanks for sharing this site. I think I could easily find several things I would like!
As what to learn from a blogging conference, the best way to transition from a weekly email to a regular blog. Over the past 2+ years I have been “blogging” to a specific audience in that I email them the weekly decorating tips. I would really like to transition to a blog but am intimidated because I want it to be the same level of presentation as my weekly email but am unsure how to get there. I have contacted so many asking for help but with not much success. Would love advice!
Oh…I fell in love with the “Fall in Love skirt!” How cute it is!

I LOVE the Serendipity dress-so cute!
I would love to learn how to balance blogging with the demands and joys of being a Godly wife, mother, and friend.
I LOVE the postcard dress and the rock star jeans! I just LOVE downeast basics so much! ha ha
I LOVE Down East! What a cute outfit you picked out, by the way! I love how they do the extra layering of fabric with their skirts. :)
Kari´s last blog post … Sometimes I wish…
Okay, so I loveLOVElove all their skirts and dresses, but I just recently tried on their “Love and Linger” top, and WOW. It is super cute. It is really simple, but it’s way flattering. I like the silvery color best.

Kari´s last blog post … Sometimes I wish…
I love love love all of downeast basic clothes, but since its fall, I think my favorite things are the skirts, in particular, the out and about skirt, because you can wear it anywhere!
If I were attending a blogging conference, I would love to learn about new background designs and what new techniques people were using, I think blogs have such a potential to be creative, thought I know I would love to learn some new DIY tricks!
I also facebook’d this giveaway :-)
Liz´s last blog post … Toddler Finger Paints
Tough to decide on a favorite….I’m going to say the Tuxedo top – looks easy to wear during the week with jeans.
Any of the skirts I love all of their designs!!!
I have a hard time picking one fave from the DownEast line, but because it seems to be VERY unique I have to choose the undershirts and camisoles in little girls sizes! My daughter has been wearing their brand for about 3 years now, and it makes so many of the adorable little girl shirts that are tank tops, or not very long, way more modest. That way if I get a great deal from an online children’s clothing site (or a great local sale) and the shirt isn’t something I would let her wear on her own, I can still buy it and it’ll look great paired with a DownEast undershirt!
Extra #1: I would love to learn about how Mom bloggers best budget their time for their blog AND keeping their family roles (providers, children, housekeeping, etc) in focus. I think I could be a great blogger….IF that is all I did. I have a hard time balancing much more into my life beyond kids, and their homework, and their activities, etc.

I posted about this on my facebook {Rob n’ Ki Smith}
I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything Down East sells. Love the shirts. I just purchased the “Hip to Be Square” top and it’s my new fav. So fun to wear with jeans or with a skirt.
I would love to learn more about writing and how to make it interested and not just the same thing over and over again.
Just posted the contest as a status update!!!!
I have had my eye on several items from DownEast basic’s website but have a new baby and my money goes to her most times, maybe most mothers can relate to that. I love the Do or Tie Top in Deep Taupe color. It is a very classy shirt that you could wear with either jeans or slacks or a skirt. I do love the skirt you are wearing.
Hummm blog? 1. I would like to learn effective ways to teach my lil’ angel about God when she is old enough to learn. 2. Also how to entertain my baby as she develops and fun activities to do with her in the house during the cold and snowy months to come. 3. Recipe blog 4. Green living. Love the giveaway! Hope to see some cool blogs. Happy Autumn! I love the beauty of the seasons changing.
I love DownEast! They have so many cute things but I have to fall back on my old staples as my favorites. In the summer I wear a Wonder Crew nearly every day and now that it is starting to get chilly I’m busting out my Long Sleeve Tees. I think they have a fabulous design team and are doing a great service to women everywhere!

I love pretty much everything, but my faves are the Curtsy Coat, Floral Fixation Skirt and the rock star jeans!!
From a blog conference on religion, I would want to learn how to balance blogging and real life… and how to blog about religion without being pushy. Maybe also about blog safety–my blog is private, but I kind of want a public one if I knew more about how to keep it safe.

Wow, this is a HARD choice!!!! I am actually faily new to Downeast Basics and have not had the opportunity to purchase anything yet (my hubby’s job is not going as planned!). I would like to learn how to live better for Him (God), amidst all the craziness of daily living. How to really be able to give my life to Him and feel like I’m having the walk I should be having. oh yeah, and I’d love to really learn how to cook. I mean really cook! lol.
Happy October!!
I really want to try their rock star jeans – - I’ve been a dwoneast fan for years!!
I love the Serendipity dress!!

Christin´s last blog post … Real Life Sister Party
I would like to learn how to share the lessons I learn from my daily bible study.
What I would like to learn from a Blogging conference is how to manage time between home and blogging. How can you build a blog without leaving home for hours a week? How can I make the most of my time as a blogger? Writing great content or writing ok content and promotion? What is the best way to spend my time as a blogger? Does that make sense? What’s the most important thing or 2-3 things a blogger needs to build a great blog?
Christin´s last blog post … Real Life Sister Party
I’d love to try a pair of their new jeans, and I love all the new skirts! I’ve been eying the skirt you got to try. So fun!

My favorite DownEast item? How do I pick just one? But right now I’m really craving the closer look cardi with the striped turtleneck underneath…top it off with one of their cute scarves!
My favorite is the half sleeve tee. I have one and love it.
I would love how to make my blog into a book. I love using my blog for a scrapbook/journal.
I like the rockstar jeans. I like a lot of their stuff!
I absolutely adore the Cream & Sugar skirt! How cute and sassy would I be wearing that? :)

Entry 2 (because I forgot to add it to the previous post)
I’d love to learn how to blog about Christ more and about what a difference He makes in my life AND be able to do it to where lost people would still want to read my blog. Not because I want to be popular, but because I want to be subtle and reach out to people that might not read if they see “oh it’s a Christian blog”. As Christians we have so much joy in our hearts and it’s hard to decide how to talk to our blog audience! Do I not worry about the lost and just speak to my Christian readers or what? Hey – that’s kind of like real life in a way, huh? :)
Elizabeth´s last blog post … Love of a Granddaughter
I, like Holly said above, would love to know how to start a blog. I’ve wanted to for a while now-I just am not sure where to begin…I think its really important to have a clear purpose,so I’ve been thinking and praying about that a lot. I would love to hear advice from you and other Christian women who blog with purpose!
I’m crazy about the skirts from DownEast Basics!! How will I ever choose just one?! I’m going to go with the Cream and Sugar, but the Uptown Cord and Hot to Trot are calling my name as well! Thanks for the opportunity to win :)
Wow – too many hard decisions. :)You look adorable in your skirt, yes, you do. And my daughter is commanding me to put the stuff in the dryer, so I guess balancing family and blogging…important TOPIC!

I love the Cream and Sugar Skirt. So cute!
How to write blogs that are interesting for others to read. I have great ideas, but I can’t word them well so that they are provoking!
I Facebooked!
Love the outfit! So hard to choose but I like the Cat Walk Jeans the best.
Regarding a blogging conference. I think it would be great to address “the fear of man”. Maybe something along the lines of what Ed Welch covers in “When People are Big and God is Small.” That is one of the greatest struggles for me in blogging is being too concerned about what others think, to write what I really feel the spirit leading, so then i just don’t blog. I belive it is a common struggle for people and think it would be great to address at a conference, that we should care about what God thinks of what we are writing and not be swayed by the readers. Thanks for your transparent and humble writing. It encourages me and exalts the Savior when you share your sin and His power over it!
I really like the Down East lace tees. I would buy one in every color if I could! ;0)
I love the Feeling Fall skirt!
I would love to learn blogging basics… how to set one up and effectively keep it going.
I totally love the floral fixation skirt!! So adorable!!
TeriLynneU´s last blog post … The Truth about Grace
Wonderful World Dress was my favorite item. I added their website to my bookmarks and plan to visit their site again soon. I heart them too.
What I would like to learn is more about time management and blogging. I have a family blog but I’d love to have a more serious devotional blog. Okay, I actually do have one but I have never published a single one of my posts because I’m afraid if I start something, I won’t have time to keep it up. Prioritizing it all and knowing when the Lord is leading is very hard for me.
Thanks for doing this contest. Very fun. Very cool.
Wow, what a nice shop! I’m glad you blogged about them, I see so many things I like! Perhaps my favorite is the Cream & Sugar Skirt :)I love those colors! Thanks for this opportunity!

I love the wonderful world dress. Ok, I really love them all, but thought I should just pick one instead of listing everything from the site.
I would love to learn “How” to start a blog. I am fairly isolated where I live (also known as Living in the Sticks). I have found such inspiration from so many blogs. Just thought with a blog that I could repay some of the blessing I have received; just have no idea how.
I really like the long sleeved tuxedo top.
Wow! Those clothes are amazing! Thanks for opening up my eyes to a great site! My fave is the Serendipity Dress… it’s gorgeous!

I love the connect the dots dress — but you’re right, there’s so many great choices!!
I am in LOVE with the L’Amour coat in Olive. Every time I have gone into the store I have almost purchased it…I want it so bad!

Brittney´s last blog post … Pictorial Review
If I were coming to your conference I would like to learn more about blog design. Other helpful information would be how to connect with others without becoming overwhelmed with all your connections. Good luck planning it.
I LOVE everything on their site!! I absolutely love the Uptown Cord Skirt in Charcoal Grey. It is so versatile and super chic! I would like info/ideas on how to increase blog followers.
You’re right; hard to choose. I am going with the Fall In Love skirt because it looks like it will match the new KikaPaprika top I bought at type-a mom. Fun.
Will definately send my two pregnant daughter’s to check out the site’s maternity section.
Really affordable prices.
To your question about what might be something for your Christian blogging conference. I would say, how to be transparent. Comfortable in your shoes, and with past sins, to share them so others can grow and learn. Also, how to keep the doors open to non-believers: in the world not of it. So we are not so far away our light is visible to only each other. My prior post’s concern is that for many their money can afford only one conference…and if they are not integrated but seperated, then the light is removed (or at least diminished) from TypeA and other similar conferences. Just need to pray through how it would look, and be perceived. Fellowship is wonderful, and our need to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, but when, where, how is still a quandry for me if we tend to add the labels that could possibly divide.
Thanks for sharing a fun Site. Will tweet and post on Facebook both.
I love the Serendipity dress, but the Feelin Fall skirt is a close second :)
Id like to learn more about writing at a conference! How to paint better word pictures as well as how to write more professionally.

my favorite would have to be the wildflower skirt. It is just LOVELY and could be paired iwth a simple tank to make it causual or dressed up with boots and a fitted top to look nice for an evening out!
I AM so excited your planning a Christian conference. Can you have one in South AFrica??? You know, its LOVELY here. :)
I think the biggest thing I’d like to learn is really just more truth from the Bible that as a women, I am ok. I try so much in my writing to be open and vulnerable and sometimes I wonder should I? So maybe, just having sessions on what is appropriate to share for what type of blog you have. Also, maybe some resources to use when writing. Or how to engage readers and keep them encouraged and motivated about their own lives while being true to your own.
It would be good to have like “partners” be formed. This would allow you to connect closer with one-3 other women and share the goal of your blog, and your heart with them. Afterwards, these women could then be a good little inner circle of guidance and support….
LOVE the bleaker street blazer! So cute in green!
I’d love to see advertising techniques–How to get your words out there and seen–at a blogging conference. :)

I adore the curtsy coat! It’s so great and fall is a lovely time!
Just want to say I LOVE Downeast Basics. I hope they never go out of business. The tees and camis, in particular, are indispensible! So many colors and long lengths – including sleeves – can’t get enough of them. I like all the tees, long sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, 1/2 sleeve, tank tops, lacey tees, etc.
I like colors that flatter fair skin – not wash it out.
From a blog, I would like to hear people’s satisfaction about modest clothing and how hip it can be. And maybe even how modesty is influencing people around us for good.
I love the Tuxedo Top. Both my mom and sister have it and I have been wanting one for myself!
