Where did my family vacation this year?  The same as last year!  We went to visit our dear friends the Brookshires! (A.K.A. Robin, Breezy, and Emily Rose…oh, and Rob and Bently, but they don’t have blogs).  I love this family so so so very much.

We had such a wonderful time together, just enjoying each other’s company.  Rob mentored my husband the whole time as Robin mentored me – such wisdom we have gleaned from them!

We had the opportunity to go to the creation museum…

And we also had a party!!!!!!!  Several families traveled to the Brookshires for a day of fun and fellowship!  I got to meet two more wise women, June (from a Wise Woman Builds Her Home) and Rhonda (from Devine Spot)…oh, it was a Raising Homemakers reunion!

So, we didn’t go to the beach or some resort.  Nope, we chose to visit with a family that we knew would build us up spiritually and encourage us in our walk with the Lord and with our family. Oh, and they are just plain fun and FABULOUS!  We are so thankful for their friendship, mentorship, and hospitality.  Thank you Brookshires!  Until next year…  :)
