Hi Laura,

In my opinion, the number one thing you can do is pray for him - pray that God would lift the veil on his doubts and that he would put full faith in the Word that God has given us. Also, some resources you may want to check out are Evidence that Demands a Verdict: http://www.amazon.com/Evidence-Demands-Questions-...

and
Why I Choose to Believe the Bible (youtube video by Voddie Baucham) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPNraxxxRO8&featur...

This post was such a blessing to me! My teenage son, who knows and loves God, has lost confidence in His Word. He says he doesn't understand how we can know for sure it is God's word. For me it is so easy and obvious. I'm so concerned, how can I help him?

That is a beautiful post! That's where I've been too - deep in God's Word. I can't imagine my life without God guide me.

I have read your blog for some time now, but have not commented on anything until now. I have been following your latest posts and the discussions that have followed and just wanted you to know that you have been on my mind and in my prayers. I am praying that you will continue to seek Him and that you would not be discouraged. I am blessed by your humility and the heart for Him that is so evidently communicated through your writing. The things that you blog about are difficult for us to hear, process and respond to and often our first inclination is defensiveness. I have found myself over the last few years to have thought on many of the same things and have come to many of the same conclusions. These conclusions have come through much wrestling, praying and reading. Thankfully, the Lord knows our heart and that is truly the most important thing in our decision making concerning each and every decision we make in our lives. What is our motivation and do the prayers that we pray line up with biblical principles? Do the decisions we make line up with biblical principles that have been discovered through much prayer and study? Hopefully these questions will make us each pause and will encourage all out there who are trying to determine what the Lord and His Word have to say concerning our roles in relationship to Him, our families and the world around us. Know that you are being lifted up in prayer, Sarah Mae, and I will look forward to meeting you at Relevant.

Thanks for sharing your journey. Keep seeking and soaking in Him!

Oh Sarah! You are such a blessing to me this morning. Isn't God amazing!!! I have spent so many incredible times sitting at His feet over the last six weeks as I prayed and bathed in His Word as we were discerning so many things in challenges that we have been facing. It is so awe inspiring when, even when the situation is still with us, I feel so much more refreshed and confident in how to deal with things. If I don't have that time everyday life just isn't as beautiful...know what I mean?
