My babes and I LOVE this CD! And don’t let all the silliness fool you (and yes, it is super silly), the lullabies on this CD are BEAUTIFUL – I actually teared up when I heard ‘You Can Always Come Home.’ I couldn’t find a song sample, but here are some of the lyrics:

The Slugs and Bugs CD sounds absolutely fantastic and something my children would love! :) I like that one of their creators has also helped write some songs for Veggie Tales (which is a favorite in our home!)
And the Kids Flag Page sounds GREAT! I love how it says that it can help parents bring out the best in their children! It's hard to believe it can help with that…but such a neat idea and something fun to try! :)

Wow! I love the sound of that CD – I'm looking for great music to play for my baby when he/she is born in August.

andrew peterson is great!! i have heard nothing but good things about slugs & bugs, but have never bought a copy for myself.
you should also check out his book THE BALLAD OF MATTHEW'S BEGATS – http://andrew-peterson.com/index.php?s=au&nid… – he sings through the lineage of Jesus. it is such a great perspective on how the events leading up to Christ's birth all tie together.

Okay, so I thought the kids would enjoy Slugs and Bugs. I let them watch the youtube video on the post. 30 minutes later, I have the song memorized and I had to pull my daughter away from the computer so she would eat her breakfast. I suppose I should probably enter the giveaway to get that cd! (I heart the shirts, too, but the kids really want that cd!)
