A Day Dedicated to Your Babes

I have a challenge for you.

For me.

Here it is:

Between now and Wednesday, spend one full day doing whatever your children want to do (with a few guidelines, of course).

A full day to them, for them.

Our guidelines (you create your own):

  • No T.V./movies
  • No all you can eat junk food fest (although some is okay).
  • No outside play if weather is horrible/freezing (some dancing in the rain permitted).

We will link up next Thursday with how it went (the good, the bad, the mentally insane).

Are you in?

If you have an older daughter, perhaps you could do this during your day together! (ad)

Don’t forget to enter the EnviTote/Flirty apron fabulousness here!

Great idea! I have been feeling convicted about being too caught up in MY agenda every single day!

  2. Great idea! And one I really should participate in!

I don't think my girls could play with me ALL day without wandering. LOL We are taking today to do lots of crafts and 'getting ready for baby' things.

My husband actually has a rule in our house that we do this once every couple of months. Each kiddo gets to make a list of their ideas and we combine some from each list to make a fab day. They LOVE it! We are overdue so gonna try to fit this in :)

  9. Tyra says:

We've been doing alot of 'just spending time together' since I've been unable to do as much on my feet lately. But even so I haven't exactly taken a whole day and made it about them so this is a fun idea! Not sure what our guidelines might end up being but I'm definitely in. :-)

  13. We'll have to do this, too. I've been a little convicted about it anyway!

There will be another guideline for us, though: No computer. Maybe between certain hours that day, say between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.??? Hmmmm. Food for thought :o)

    Thanks for the challenge!
