Unless a seek falls in the ground and dies it cannot live - truly the Christian life is a beautiful paradox. When we embrace the cross we embrace our Christ.

Wow! Amazing post!

"It feels like a thousand miles to get from self heart disease to torn veil cross God joy.

My disease infects my marriage, my mothering, my home, and my (lack of) hospitality. It bleeds in my mind as my thoughts settle on untruths. I sit comfortable. I don’t wash anyone’s feet."

Again, I'll say it! WOW... pondering....

There's a "put off and put on" principle here. The only way to stop focusing on self is to focus on something else - and to love that Something better. Great post.

You need to go to kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com if you've never visited. I was led to this blog a few days ago and I must say, it has changed my life. I read her first couple of posts and had to go back to the beginning of her posts. I read it like a book. It has brought me to tears every time. A beautiful girl being led by God. Amazing. She is amazing because God is working through her.

Kathy - Click on “Compatibility View” (an icon right after the URL that looks like a piece of paper ripped in half) and that should fix it immediately. It’s an Internet Explorer (IE) issue.

Sarah Mae, I'm not sure why, or if I'm the only one this is happening to, but for a few weeks now I haven't been able to fully read your posts because your header/banner shows twice (one below the other) and covers the top of your post. Has anyone else noticed this or is it something with my computer?
I miss being able to read your posts. :(
