Did you know you can get pregnancy tests for $1 at the Dollar Tree?!
And, yes, they work just like the expensive ones (I know because I used them!).
So, next time you’re in the market for a preggo test, don’t waste your money on the ridiculously expensive ones!
This random tip brought to you after the urging of a friend who never knew you could buy $1 preggo tests…she told me I had to share it with the “world!” :)
I thought this was going to be an annoucement!!! lol!!! I saw them there recently – I hope I get to buy one someday :-)!!! But as of now – no reason too :-( boooooooo…

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I got a positive on a Dollar Tree cheapie when the expensive brand-name First Response Early Response test gave me a negative. TWICE!! I LOVE the cheapies!!!
WOW! I seriously had no idea. And if it doesn’t work, I mean it’s only a $1! I’ve had the expensive ones not work, lol!

Yep, I’ve used those dollar store tests with 3 pregnancies now….I’ve told all my friends about them. Plus, if anyone is like I was with their first pregnancy, they won’t believe it and will rush out and buy a more expensive one “just to make sure!” lol So save yourself some money and buy the $1 ones!
You can also buy them for 1$ at Dollar General. They carry 1$ and 4$ pregnancy tests, so make sure to ask for the right one.

I just saw those in the check-out at Dollar Tree the other day and I wondered if they worked! I don’t need one at the present time but that is good to know and to tell your friends. I always found the prices of pregnancy tests a bit ridiculous…I think I paid $12 the last time!
Too Funny. I was able to just walk around our Dollar Tree for the first time on Wed. because both kids were in school. As I walked up and down every aisle, I saw the Preggo tests. I stopped and stared at them for a second and tried to figure how much money I have wasted buying them other places. Better not to know, I guess. LOL
This is so funny because I just had this conversation with a friend the other day! And she told me the same thing. She used them when she found out she was pregnant with her two children. :)

LOL!! I thought about getting one there once and NP said, “You are not going to buy a pregnancy test at DOLLAR TREE.” Now I can tell him that indeed, they are legit. ;)
you can get them even cheaper on ebay. Like a lot of 20 for just a couple dollars. There just simple paper strips though, with now plastic cover, but they work just as well (even after the “expired” date).
That’s what I did, bought one lot and they’ve lasted me a few years (I have 4 children now, not 20 !)
I’ve seen those and also wondered if they worked! I had a digital one someone gave me, and I liked that it didn’t have a line, it just said PREGNANT. lol… But I would definitely like to save money on the $1 kind!

Best of all…most of the time they are kept right up front at the register so you can just grab n’ go – without the distraction of wanting to look down every aisle. Err…is that just me?!

YES, I discovered this little preggo test secret when I was newly pregnant with my first daughter. It is a HUGE savings in money! I think it’s great that you’re sharing! =-)

Hmmm… I always saw them but was too nervous that they would give false negatives. Have lots of you had good experiences with ‘em?
Reborn – I used them to find out that I was preggo with two of my children – they showed negative at first (when it was still too early to detect, but I was anxious), and then positive when I missed my period.
Yet another reason why I truly do love the Dollar Tree!
