Want to See What I've Been Working On?

I’ve been a busy little bee working on some new websites…

RaisingHomemakers.com

Getasponsor.net

They are not finished yet, but I am thrilled about both of them.

Raising Homemakers is about teaching and preparing your daughters in the art of homemaking. The team I have lined up for contributors is an incredible blessing.  It should be official sometime this week.

Get A Sponsor is all about learning how to get sponsored for a conference – how to connect with a sponsor; how to best represent your sponsor at a conference; and how to maintain a great sponsorship relationship into the future.

Now, make sure you come back tomorrow because I am having a fabulous giveaway…think “super cute,” clothes, and DownEast Basics. {ahem}.

Just to make sure you don’t miss my glorious giveaway (where there will be TWO winners), why don’t you just go ahead and subscribe to Like a Warm Cup of Coffee?  You can do that right here.  :)

  1. I'm subscribed to both! So exciting :) Just thought you should know, my husband is actually going to meet me at our daughter's dance classes Tuesday and stay with the kids so I can come home and go to the Twitter party. Isn't that sweet?

  5. I am looking forward to your new additions! I have been challenged in the area of raising homemakers! I have 4 in training. It is some of the toughest work I have done, but so worth it. One thing I have done is to make each room a zone. They take turns cleaning and caring for a zone so that they get a real feel for how to take care of a room – not merely do chores. Their toughest room to zone care for is the kitchen. But, that comes with the bonus of planning and cooking with me once per week. I have cherished that one-one time with my girls!

    Blessings,
    Stacey

Stacey, a fellow homeschooling mom does that with her kids and we love it. Each week her kids are in charge of different rooms. We are implementing this in our new school year- can't wait!

  12. Sarah Mae,

I wasn't sure if anyone else has told you yet, but your header shows up twice (one on top of the other) which covers up several paragraphs of your posts. I'm not sure if you can see it on your end but it may just be an HTML tweak. It's been like that for over a week.

Looking forward to your upcoming giveaway and being able to read your full post. ;)

    • SarahMae says:

Hey there Classy Woman, do this and the header will be all fixed up:

Click on “Compatibility View” (an icon right after the URL that looks like a piece of paper ripped in half) and that should fix it immediately. It’s an Internet Explorer (IE) issue.

  17. Kelly says:

I can't help but think that due to your idea of making a homemaker website, you are of the opinion that this is an important skill all daughters of ours need to acquire. I also can't help but feel like we are back in the 50s…..do explain. I am offended by your new website idea.

    • SarahMae says:

      Hi Kelly, :)

I had the idea because many women, including myself, have wished that we would have been raised with homemaking skills, because now that we are homemakers we are somewhat lost! There are many homemaking skills that I want to better myself at, and I know I'm not alone. Why does this offend you? Do you associate homemaking with inferiority?

  18. SO excited about Raising Homemakers. Very fun!
