That’s my song, my favorite childhood song; my dad used to sing it to me.
Now I sing it to my babes, but I replace “sunshine” with their names.

My daughter can belt out a lovely rendition of "Blue Skies" complete with twirling and happy smiles.
Every night we sing "I am Jesus' Little Lamb" before bedtime.

I love You are my Sunshine. It's always been a favorite of mine and I love singing it to my kids. I get teary eyed every time. Just thinking about how much I love them and how blessed I am to have them in my life.
My favorite song as a child was this medley that Sandi Patty and the Friendship Company sang. My twin and I had it all memorized–it was ~10 minutes! We LOVED it. Perfect for car trips. We currently own the Wee Sing Bible Songs and my daughter loves all of them…but especially Jesus Loves Me

That's a hard one….probably "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart!"
My fav childhood song is also 'You Are My Sunshine' My mom used to sing it to me. Now that she has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home, I sing it to her. She doesn't remember my name, but she loves and remembers that song. I can't quite get thru it without crying, but it makes her smile so I just can't not sing it. While I'm here, can I ask all of you to please say a prayer for her? Her name is Myrtle & her spirit loves the Lord with all her heart. Thank you!

When I am with my grandchildren they like to have Jesus Loves Me sang to them when they go to bed. I also sing You Are My Sunshine, and Jesus Loves the Little Children.
My two sisters and I each have a song our parents picked just for us- mine is You Are My Sunshine because my mom said I got up with the sun each morning!
