I Love These Girls and What They've Done – Historical Paper Dolls from Noble Rose Press (Giveaway!)

If you have read my blog for any significant amount of time, you are probably aware of how much I *adore* Breezy and Emily Rose Brookshire. They are such lovely, talented, intelligent, sweet, entrepreneurial young ladies. They “enjoy working together to create art that proclaims Christ’s Kingship and inspires young ladies in pursuing godliness, virtue, and love for home and family.”
Today is a very special day for these young women.
Today they launch their company Noble Rose Press (which has the vision of glorifying “the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by uplifting daughters, the future wives and mothers, through products that will inspire them in their biblical roles as virtuous women”) and reveal their much anticipated “Daughters of His Story” paper doll collections. Ya’ll, they are incredible!
Seriously, incredible. And beautiful. And smart.

Each collection features two ladies along with a short biography, three outfits apiece and two time-line portraits inside a keepsake folder.
The sets are:
- Katherina Von Bora and Idelette Calvin
- Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards
- Pocahontas and Priscilla Mullins
If you don’t know who some of these women are, you will after you receive your set! Not only do the sets come with the dolls, they also come with an historical sketch of each woman. You and your daughter can learn together the significance of these of how these women impacted the kingdom of God.

Press surrounding ‘The Daughters of His Story’ Paper Doll Collections:
“What a thrill to see this fantastic collection of historical paper dolls from the talented Brookshires! The careful research that went into each character and her costumes is obvious, page after beautiful page. You hold in your hands what I consider the finest historical paper dolls available today. The beauty of the artwork was an immediate draw for me, but the biographical sketches and meticulous attention to detail in the costumes are what held me enthralled. It is a delight to have accurate, lovely representations of our godly foremothers, and my daughters are going to thoroughly enjoy reenacting their stories through these sets. I look forward to seeing more from the Brookshires!”

“As little girls, we spent hours playing with paper dolls of historic women – hours that left an indelible impression on our young minds, and our affections for the noble womanhood of yesteryear. In addition to inspiring girls with an admiration for these important women, the Daughters of His Story Paper Dolls present an image of dignity, modesty, beauty and grace that will leave a deep, lasting impression on little girls. We strongly recommend them.”

I would like Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards. I had a huge collection of paper dolls as a child and played with them often. My daughters were the same way. I would like these for my granddaughter.
I am thrilled to see decent paper dolls with educational information. It is hard to find paper dolls today that are not dressed worldly. Thank you!
Abigail Adams and Sarah Edward would be my first choice. I love reading about these women and would like to own the set for myself! (even though I am a 49 year adult woman)
I love collection 2-Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards.
I saw that you were running a contest when I joined their Facebook page. I, too, am so impressed with these young ladies. I like the third set best, but I think I'm about to go buy the bundle for my girls for Christmas.

I loved paperdolls as a child and would love to see my girls playing with them too! I would love to win collection one! Their site is great and I'll be following them on FB now too!
I would love to win the one with Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards.
I also follow the girls on Facebook.
Thanks for the opportunity!
How incredibly beautiful! What lovely inspiration and glory to God. I LOVED paper dolls when I was a girl – and my girls have played with some dressup dolls at my mother's house. Perfect idea for little girls.
I'd love the Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards set if I had to pick only one – but I think we'll have to consider all three!!!
This is incredible! Breezy and Emily, you've outdone yourselves again. God is so kind.
Anyway… I would love to win this for my precious niece! I would love to give her Collection Two, as I am particularly fond of both Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Edwards.
Thank you for your ministry and business, and especially for your evident joy.

I am so excited that you are doing this! I frequently visit their mother's blog for some 'Titus 2' encouragement and was super excited when she announced what her daughters where up to. One thing we are working on with our daughters is hospitality. So if I had to choose which one I want (and I do want them all:))I would get Katharina Von Bora and Idelettle Calvin.
Their web page is just beautiful and I already sent a link to all of friends who have little girls.
For His Kingdom!
I'd choose the 2nd collection! Reminds me of the sets we had growing up! So encouraging!!!
These are so neat! What a blessing these girls are.
I have a couple of little sisters who would absolutely love these, my daughter is not quite old enough yet but will be soon!
I'm a fan on facebook!
If I won it would be a hard choice between collections 1 & 2. Although if I don't win I will probably buy the bundle of all 3 while they are on sale!
Thanks so much!

Hello there!
What a lovely idea for a give-away. I know (have met)Emily Rose and Breezy and am so excited for them.
I would love to enter your give-away, and I think collection 2 is my favorite (What a hard choice!).
Thank you!
~Livvy
I love the third collection with Pocohantas and Priscilla Mullins. My girls have just recently found the joy of paper dolls and I am thrilled!!! Thank you for the giveaway!
I love the set with Pocahontas. I loved all three actually. I will have to see about getting some of these for my little girl.
I have become a fan of Noble Rose on Facebook. I am still trying to win the set with Pocahontas. :-)
Hi! Wow! They are amazing! I thought of my cousins as soon as I saw them! They would love the Pocohantas and Priscilla set! They are so beautiful! Keep up the good work!! ~Thanks
I believe I like #2 although its hard to choose! I've always been very curious about Abigail Adams. I think these paper dolls are just darling!
All the sets looked wonderful. May our Lord bless you in this venture of fun, "His"tory, and purity.
Blessings,
Deb
Oh, they are all lovely – as is their site! I would choose Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards I think!
Hello! We came to your giveaway post through A Bowl of Moss and Pebbles blog :) We are a Christian homeschooling family living in Australia, and my younger sister's would love to receive one of the doll sets! We'd love the Katharina von Bora & Idelette Calvin set – two wonderful women in history! Thanking you! Abbie
i had already visited their site…caught wind of the whole affair off of their mother's blog. :)
the set i would be most interested in would be the Pocahontas and Priscilla Mullins set. Pocahontas was mentioned briefly when we did the Truth Project through Focus on the Family this summer and it made me curious. i never had associated her with Christianity. i just knew she was an indian. obviously there is something to be learned! :) and i am clueless about miss pricilla.
and can i just say i love the whitty title ..women of his story..instead of just women of history. quite clever. :)
It would be hard to choose, but I think my first choice would be Abigail Adams because we are studying him for Home School right now.

What a great giveaway!! :) The Brookshire ladies are very dear friends of mine, and I'm just so proud of them and their wonderful dominion work.
I purchased the collections for my hopechest on the first day of the sale, but would like to enter to win a collection for a friend of mine.
Please enter me. I think she would like the one with Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards the best.
Thanks, and have a blessed day in the Lord!

Rebekah

What a lovely and wonderful idea. I know just the girl to share these with. I had such a hard time but I think I'd most like Katherina Von Bora and Idelette Calvin.
I became a Facebook fan.
And I am following on Twitter now. Thanks!
I want all three sets of these beautiful paperdolls! But, if I had to choose only one, it would be Pocahontas and Priscilla Mullins – they have always been two of my favorite historical figures!
I am a facebook fan!
Wow! Those are so pretty. It's hard to choose, but I think I would have to say my favorite is the second set (Abigail Adams and Sarah Edwards). Thanks for having a giveaway!!
Amy
Wow! These are so beautiful and the Noble Rose website rocks! I would love to win any of the sets, but I think my favourite is the Pocahontas and Priscilla Williams set.
I just love this blog too. I found it a couple or so weeks ago from in (in)courage page.
I'm a fan of Noble Rose Press on Facebook as well.
Great Giveaway!
I love, love LOVE the "Katherina Von Bora and Idelette Calvin" dolls. And I would love, love, LOVE to win this giveaway! :o]

Hello there!
I would love to be entered in the giveaway, if that's alright! The Pocahontas and Priscilla Mullins set sound lovely! Thank you for hosting this giveaway!
God bless,
Amelia
Is this how we enter the contest,by listing which one we'd like here? I like the Adams and Edwards set best as well. I'm sure my almost 7 year old would like them too! What a neat idea and what amazing girls to do this all on their own!
Oh, those talented young ladies!!! I love it!
My 8 year old daughter loves paper dolls, she has a little box full of them. She would treasure these and it would make history oh-so-fun!
I was going to say that Katherina Von Bora and Idelette Calvin were my favorite, but I think with Thanksgiving fast approaching I'd have to go with Pocahontas and Priscilla Mullins. We love studying Early American History, and our hearts turn in that direction each Autumn.
Thank you for the fun giveaway!
(I'm following them on Facebook now as well, thanks for the tip!)
