Behind The Scenes – Want To Write For Like a Warm Cup of Coffee?

October 6th, 2009

wherenext

It’s kind of like maternity leave.

Except I’m not pregnant.

There is much going on behind the scenes lately, such as…WE ARE SELLING OUR HOUSE!  Oh yes my friends, we have spur-of-the-moment decided to put our house on the market…this week.  We are busy busy busy getting it ready.  The other “behind-the-scenes” happening is that I, along with Jessica and Dana, are working very hard at bringing you a unique blogging conference that we are simply over the moon excited about and can’t wait until we can share more.  Oh, and my husband and I are launching a media company to be the umbrella company over the conference.  So yea, that too.

You might say I’m kind of busy {ahem}.

Which leads me to the whole “maternity leave” thing.  I don’t want to leave my sweet blog in the dust during this crazy time, so I was wondering if any of you fine readers would like a stab at writing for my blog?

If you’re interested, please email me with your topic idea and favorite dessert.

I think I’m craving something sweet.

But no, I’m not pregnant.

  1. I would love to be a guest blogger. I’ve been married 21 years (even after five years of separation) so perhaps something on staying committed through the rough spots in a relationship? My favorite dessert is cake…particularly pumpkin cake.

  2. Sarah,,,
We would love to try to write someone on your blog, it would be amazing honor, and bog shoe to fill…

I recently took up cake decorating & love it. Only slight problem is that my husband & I have 3 kids under 3. They leave me with little ‘alone’ time & usually exhaust me! I would love to guest blog about following & perfecting passions without putting your family (or other responsibilities) on the back burner.
Maybe this is seasonal, but lately my favorite dessert is a warm piece of apple crisp with freshly picked apples inside & a little scoop of smooth vanilla once cream.

  4. Hi Sarah Mae,
It all sounds very exciting. I would love to guest write for you anytime. I have a couple of ideas just off the top of my head:

    1. A recent amazing project I did for my 10 year old daughter – and the power of affirmation!

    2. My life verse and what God is teaching me through it! Colossians 3:16. Most recently He has directed my focus to being thankful.

    3. Raising strong girls and some neat ideas I have collected along the way!

Funny though, I am having a baby on October 19 or before. So the sooner the better!!!

    Have a super day,
    Stacey

P.S. Desert….I really haven’t met one I don’t like! But, the absolute indulgence is Oreo Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, a cup of decaf & a dear friend to enjoy every bite with me. Well, I mean they would of course have their own slice, as sharing is really not an option!
