Giveaway! Slammin' Outfit From DownEast Basics!
September 30th, 2009
I have recently been blessed to wear one of the most chic happy outfits that I think I have ever worn. Really. I like it that much.
DownEast Basics hooked me up with this lovely ensemble for the Type-A Mom conference…

Turning Colors Skirt with the Bleaker Street Blazer, Wonder Tee, and an amazingly beautiful necklace that seems to be missing from the website (sniff sniff).
Incidentally, they also threw in this very hip Metro Messenger Bag, that I happen to use for my laptop (I got it in green)…

Ya’ll, this giveaway is just so fantastic I can hardly stand it!!!
The same slammin’ outfit that I wore can be yours!
(in your own size, of course!)
I know – incredible, right? Here’s what you have to do to enter:
- Visit DownEast Basics and tell me your favorite item from their store (it’s going to be very hard to choose!)
- Extra entry #1: Leave a comment telling me what you would like to learn from a blogging conference (not random – I’m planning a Christian one!)
- Extra entry #2: Post, Tweet, Facebook this giveaway
Contest will be open until Wednesday, October 14 at 9pm EST.
If you are inclined to purchase something from DownEast Basics (you should, you really really should, because, I heart them), get free shipping by using promo code: sarahmae (good through 10/8)
Hope you win! :)

I would love the “Cream & Sugar” Skirt….LOVE IT! There is a new DownEast Store that just opened by me and I love their clothes :)
For the blogging conference, I’d like to know about getting started and what the most sucessful blogs have done to build a following.
Okay, I’m so jealous that you get all this cute stuff. So… for myself, I would like the One of a Kind Top (and a few other things).
* I just tweeted and added something to facebook.
* For the conference: 1) I would like to know how to turn your blog into a business (i.e., advertising and such … you know, to pay for the college bills); 2) How to grow your readership, get people to comment, gently evangelize and/or encourage along the way; and 3) SEO, advertising basics, social media and all the other nutts and bolts.

I am totally digging the A Cut Above Coat. I haven’t had to wear coats for 10 years, and last year I muddled through w/o one. I think I’ll get this one just because it’s so stinking cute!

At a blogging conference, I would like to learn more about networking and sponsorship.

I’d like to learn how to take all of my blogging topics/ideas and streamline them into one cool blog! I have so many different directions I would like to explore and I’m having trouble choosing one area that I think would speak to the most readers and be the most enjoyable for me to write.

My favorite is the Turning Colors skirt, I do not have a blog, would like to learn how to design one.
LOVING the Curtsy Coat!! It makes me completely happy for autumn to be heading my way. The twirling colors skirt is my #2 pick–I never win anything, but maybe mu luck with change along with the season!
The Downeast Basics wonder camis are staples in my wardrobe, and the new fall collection has so many cute things! I’ll definitely have several of their items on my Christmas list this year!
OK, the cinnamon and clove cardigan wih the ruched sleeves is to die for!! It’s so hard to find stylish sweaters, and this one is a no-brainer, must-have, gimme gimme item. It’s out of stock, which makes me cry a little, because I want it right now! I will be patient.I will.
