Name That Coffee Blend!

coffee poster

I have partnered with my favorite coffee company, New Hall Coffee Roasting Company, and we’re putting out a line of seven blends of Like A Warm Cup of Coffee micro-roasted coffee.

The blends need names…and I want you to name them!

Let’s have a little fun!

Here are the blends I need names for:

  • Caramel Vanilla
  • Pumpkin Spice
  • Christmas (although I’m really leaning toward the Holly Jolly blend)
  • Decaf
  • Fair Trade/Organic
  • Colombian

(The signature morning blend is the 5:16 blend.)

If I pick your name, you will get a free bag of coffee, a free Chalkboard China Like a Warm Cup of Coffee mug, and all the credit!

The Like a Warm Cup of Coffee line will debut in the fall!

If you want to join the coffee naming on Twitter, use the hashtag #namethatblend :)

  1. Hmmm, how about "Fair and Square" for the fair trade blend?

Are you getting sick of me and my 500 suggestions yet?? LOL!

  2. Christin says:

Ok, bear with me and no laughing. They say it takes 100 ideas (or something like that) before finding a good one! But for the pumpkin spice I was thinking: Slice of spice

I don't know how specific you want to be or if your blends will have a further description of their flavor (I am guessing so).

    I'll be back if/when I think of more! :-P

  3. Angie says:

I always call decaf a cup of "Why Bother"

  4. Christin says:

For the caramel vanilla, how about Sweet Simplicity – let me explain, ha! Caramel is sweet and vanilla is simple (compared with all the other "flavors" of say ice cream out there), no?

Have you ever looked up "vanilla" in the thesaurus? OUCH! It's labeled as bland, boring, uninspiring, etc. I disagree. I think simple is a great word for it because it's not overbearing, yet it's simple taste is delicious and soothing. No? :-)

Here is what I came up with:

Definitely like the Holly Jolly blend (seeing as how my name is Holly!). The Cup of Jose is sweet.
These definitely need to be able to be shipped North of the border to the good 'ol Canadian folks such as myself!

  43. Maralena says:

I love that you ask all us ladies to do things like this! It is so much fun! Thank You!

This looks like so much fun that I had to get into the act in name coffees,

Caramel Vanilla: Carnivanilla (Play on Carnival)

    Pumpkin Spice: Winter Warm java,

Fair Trade/Organic: Family O' Fair , Cup of Grace

  45. Christina Burrell says:

Here are my names :-): (all picked with the idea of God's love enveloping you with each sip)

    Caramel Vanilla: Sweet Surrender
    Pumpkin Spice: Autumn Embrace
    Christmas: Greatest Gift
    Fair Trade/Organic: Pure Innocence

  46. Kesee says:

What a great response you've gotten to this idea.. such a great idea letting everyone's creativity "blend"! I already submitted a few names but couldn't sleep last night, so instead of counting sheep, I was thinking coffee!!! I only came up with one for the DECAF- i thought just the simple word- CHILLAX! would be appropriate.. I'm a lightweight and have to drink decaf for health reasons, it keeps me relaxed and I still get that "warm cup of coffee" feeling!
Can't wait to see more ideas and your final selections!
