Advent Poem

Will it begin while I’m alive?

Will I be slain for your name?

Or will I survive?

I can not imagine what a sight it will be,

when you come on a cloud wild and loud

and all will bend a knee

How will your angels gather the few?

Will we follow and fly straight up to the sky?

Or will they take us to you?

How wonderful to finally see your face!

I’m anticipatory to see your glory

and finally feel your embrace

“Be alert” and “ready”, this I will strive

preparing to meet the Lamb,

the great I Am

Will it begin while I’m alive?

I'm Sarah Mae. I'm figuring out how to fit perfect into fallen skin. Stick around for the stretching...your soul is welcome here.
